WEBSITES

In this task, we were asked to create groups of 4 and create a padlet page with 3 parts. These parts include the things we already know about the chosen topic, the things we want to learn and eventually the things we learned (which are the answers to our questions). We were told to use websites to find answers and we did so.

For the record, padlet is an amazing tool to work with other people collectively, especially with this kind of information-gathering task, I think it is one of the best choices. It is easy to navigate, and fun to play around with.

When it comes to 21-century learning, we already discussed the importance of technology. I assume this task could be done individually as homework in a traditional classroom, but in our century, it could be an amazing collective activity for students to work together. So I would definitely use this for teaching purposes.

Meanwhile, we need to show our students the difference between Wiki's and websites for reliability. By doing so, we can also teach them how to research properly, and how to gain dependable information.
