Creating an Online Poster

 In this task, we were asked to advertise a book by creating an online poster. I think this is a great idea for creative purposes because we are in control of the design, the photographs, the font etc. So it feels like a fun activity. But at the same time, it comes with some problems as well.

I used the tool Canva. It is actually pretty practical to use but the struggle was to find a tool that is easy to use but also free. Also, most of them required membership and I did not want to do that, so after a while, I found Canva and used it. 

The creation process was fun at first, but it got tiring the more I got into it. Trying to fit everything perfectly, finding the best fonts for the cover, or the text's sizes, colours, finding a photograph that symbolizes the book but then also needing good quality altogether, made it a bit struggling. 

If I were to use this kind of task in the future for my student, I would make sure that I give them the tool to use in addition to detailed instruction on how to use it. Because without guidance, this might actually be a tough task to work on for students who are not skilled at technology.
